AFC Wulrunians good form continued in the local encounter with AFC Hinksford. Having taken 10 points from their last four games confidence was high in the home team. Usually a tight affair, this time it was dominated from start to finish by a rampant Wulfrunians. Connor Parker and Dan Lowe both bagging a brace and Jay Sutherland contributing with a good strike to seal the rout.
A superb display from Dougie McCelland who assisted twice and was a constant thorn in the side of the Hinksford defence added to the enjoyment. This was backed up by a second successive clean sheet to complete the perfect day for the home team. They now look to take the form on to Tuesday evenings encounter with Wednesfield in the second round of the Bilston Floodlight Cup.
