AFC Wulfrunians latest fixture saw them travel to face Coventry Sky Blues at a rearranged venue on an AstroTurf pitch. After two defeats in the opening two games, the Sky Blues turned their fortunes and secured a 0-9 victory last weekend. Wulfs started their season with a crushing defeat but are now three games unbeaten in league and cup.
Wulfs adapted their formation to suit the narrow pitch and took control of what would be a very one sided game. Kaviel Noel scored Wulfs opening goal making his record two goals in two games courtesy of a Will Haden assist 0-1. Josh Cooke got the second finishing after Connor Parker supplied 0-2. Parker was again on hand to set up Jacob Harper making the score 0-3 at Half Time.
Wulfs worked hard and earned there points as they took the first half display into the second period. Connor Parker winning and scoring a penalty kick to make it 0-4 before Jay Sutherland did the same with a free kick for number five! Parker who was giving the Sky Blues problem after problem was again involved this time setting up Harper for his second and Wulfs sixth to complete the scoring in an emphatic 0-6 win.
