AFC Wulfrunians travelled to Neal Park looking to continue there one hundred percent league record against a tough Worcester Colts side.


A scrappy encounter took place as the game was more of a dogfight than a display of footballing quality. Wulfs had to better of the first half chances as a result of a number of close range freekicks. Josh Cooke came close curling a freekick round the Worcester wall but wide before another freekick, this time Ben Moore crossed to ball to find Wulfs centre half Jacob Harper tower above everyone else and head home to giving Wulfs a 0-1 half time lead.


The second half saw more of the same battling as the game became heated on a couple of occasions. Worcester pushed for a reply and carved open space to create themselves three or four good opportunities wish were squandered, with Wulfs keeper Cornaby pulling of two brave saves. Wulfs had two openings late in the game to put the result beyond doubt but were also were indecisive in front of goal. An untidy match but nevertheless a victory well earnt by the Wulfs lads.
