AFCW link up with Wolves Women

AFC Wulfrunians are delighted to announce that Wolves Women FC will be playing at Castlecroft Stadium for the forthcoming season.
These are exciting times for the women’s team after they secured a League and Cup double last season, winning promotion to the FA Women’s Premier League Northern Division in the process.
The new league will see them take on teams including Newcastle United, Leicester City
, and local rivals Sporting Club Albion.
Wulfs Chairman Ian Round said “We are delighted to be able to host Wolves Women FC games. Women’s football is growing every year and the performance of Team GB at the recent Olympics has brought the women’s game to the forefront. Hopefully we can help Wolves kick on after their massive success of last season.”
They open their campaign at Castlecroft Stadium on Sunday 19th August when they entertain Blackburn Rovers with a 2pm
kick off.
Admission is £2 for adults and £1 for concessions and Wolves season-ticket holders (on production of a season ticket).
